Signor Salsiccia is not just any hedgehog: he is a DYING hedgehog.
But how do you draw a dying hedgehog? What about a very sad crocodile, a nervous dog or a lovesick mouse?
In this playful drawing workshop, we will create animals with feelings and discover what makes the difference between an ordinary animal and one that becomes the protagonist of a story.
Riccardo Atzeni (rikatz), originally from Pirri and now based in Cagliari, was born in 1981. He works across illustration, animation and comics. He has created comics and illustrations for Bompiani, the Fumetti insert of Domani Editoriale, and 7 magazine by Corriere della Sera.
In 2021, Saetta Rossa, written by Marco B. Bucci, was published by Panini.
In 2026, Devo Andare Nello Spazio, his first graphic novel as a sole author, will be published by Bao Publishing.
